چکیده

To mitigate the damage of oil spills, a filter modified with hydrophilic and oleophobic coating is proposed for affordable efficient separation recovery from water. The sol–gel method was chosen to produce colloidal suspension titanium dioxide particles its ease production versatility in application many different substrates, including paper cloth fabric. After immersing substrates into titanium-containing solution, three techniques were applied increase dioxide—microwave-assisted, refrigeration, ultra-sonication. A hydrated regular cellulose paper filter modified with nanofibrillated cellulose (NFC) hydrogel was successfully fabricated for water/oil separation.
